Bookings, deposit, payments

Once you receive an availability pre-confirmation from us, we require a deposit PER ROOM BOOKED by Visa or Mastercard which is refundable if you cancel at least four weeks before the calendar date of your planned arrival.

The balance is due on your planned day of arrival. We will take full payment using the credit card details provided. If you are curtailed or do not arrive as planned or you depart before your planned day of departure we reserve the right to take full payment and we will take full payment. In most cases, travel insurance will cover travel delay or cancellation due to health reasons or delays caused by airlines etc. and in our experience business guests as well as experienced travellers have insurance to cover such eventualities.

Payment, card details

Please ring (Tel +44 7767 42 09 43.) us or send an encrypted PDF with your VISA or Mastercard details. We will send you a confirmation email. You agree to these terms and conditions when you book with us and we confirm the booking to you.

Travel insurance info: Guests have recommended to us ‘Travelguard’ insurance in the USA and TPS Limited’s ‘Holiday Plan’ in the UK. We are neither associated with these companies nor do we endorse them.

Arrival:

We make every effort to accommodate today’s world travellers by welcoming them into our home at just about any arrival time, even early morning.

Early arrival before 12 noon: Luggage can be left in the hallway, we will give you a map and keys and you can set off for the day. Alternatively, reserve the room from the night before for immediate occupancy on arrival, no matter how early.

Departure:

Departure time is 10am. You are welcome to leave your packed bags in the hallway, and pick them up in time for your departure to the airport/train station etc.

A word on housekeeping: our personal housekeeper is here almost every weekday to buff up bathrooms and vacuum.
