From the Big Apple...
We very much appreciate your advice on what to do and where to eat; it substantially enriched our too short visit. We saw a lot, but the one or two hours we had in the museums were just skimming the surface. I could spend a month in London as a tourist without seeing anything twice, and that wouldn't include enough time to walk around the citiy's neighborhoods. I hope to come back...

How are you doing? Great I hope. We have gotten one Email from a lady who saw the link to our website from your website. That was neat. Just wanted to let you know Chris has expanded the website with more travel tips. Check it out. Say hello to Adrian from us. We can't wait to be on your side of the "big" pond again real soon!"

My London stay was very enjoyable, Sigita [the housekeeper] was most accommodating, and I will think of you the next time I visit London. Alas, it may only be for a forced layover again."

"Hi Charlotte,
Just wanted to say thanks much to you and Adrian for being such a nice place to land in London; I had a great time there. Love the neighborhood, too - and it turns out a friend of a friend lives just down the road, so she and I went to the gym together Saturday morning!
And in case future guests are curious, both shows I saw turned out to be quite good - Rabbit, at Trafalgar Studios, was much smaller and more intimate, but very well acted and quite funny; Rock 'n' Roll, the new Tom Stoppard play, was also good, but a bit meandering. (As I told a friend later - it's the type of play Michael Frayn might have done, but with 45 fewer minutes and a more focused plotline.) Phenomenal actors though - Rufus Sewell, Sinead Cusack, etc.
Best to you both,
Rachel, New York City

"Thank you for your hospitality! Your sightseeing suggestions and help (espcially things only open in August/September, such as Parliament and the last chance to get into Buckingham Palace) proved quite beneficial to us. You home is in a wonderful area, ans was conveniently close to the tube. The breakfasts were delicious."

"We truly had a wonderful time staying at Barclay House...never to be forgotten! Also, I have been making scones with the recipe you gave me and I love it. They are lighter and can even be toasted the next day. Chris created a website with pictures from our trip including commentary. I think you would enjoy taking a look. http://www.bidwellsoftware.com
Thanks again Charlotte for being a wonderful hostess and helping make our trip so memorable.

How I enjoyed playing your grand piano every night. The Seiler is such a fine instrument, definitely handcrafted in the Old World tradition. And what a treat, ebony and ivory keys to complement the bright, singing sound and responsive action. " Dr. Larry Jones
